Connecting Europe through music!
About us
The Choir of Europe is a Berlin-based project choir that carries out ambitious choir projects all throughout Europe.
Our mission is to bring together young people from across Europe through our shared love for world-class music.
Under the award-winning baton of Frank Markowitsch, the choir holds projects in collaboration with one or more ensembles from other European countries.
The choir’s debut project in 2019 took the shape of a collaboration between the choir of the Rimsky-Korsakov-Conservatory St. Petersburg, the choir of the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, and the JEB Sinfonieorchester with concerts in Berlin, St. Petersburg and Freiburg.
For Easter 2024, the choir traveled to Italy. Together with singers from the Conservatorio Pollini di Padua and the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg, the choir took part in a series of masterclasses in Padua under the direction of Prof. Frank Markowitsch before performing Gioachino Rossini's Petite Messe solennelle in Padua and Abano Terme.
